necromancy
betwixt childhood and adolescence,
the bell is tugged, ringing and whipping.
a premature burial, born of intense
childish fevers. worms inhabit
the blood and dirt, lining
the delicate throat.
collecting organs
felt like picking daisies,
sticky with congealed blood.
the crows picked me clean,
stole my eyes and fingers,
forever cursed. unsure
of who i am, or
could have been.
