The Selkie offers online workshop sessions to writers looking for developmental feedback and guidance. The workshops are only available to writers from underrepresented backgrounds* and we have created a competitive pricing structure to ensure the workshops are as accessible as possible. We also offer one free workshop to unpublished writers through our New Voices Workshop scheme, go to New Voices Workshop page to learn more.

The developmental editing workshops are divided into three tiers, including a ‘Name Your Price’ style tier (Tier III) with a minimum limit of £15.

All of our mentors have extensive experience with creative writing workshops and editing. Each workshop session comes with an editorial report highlighting key issues to help you improve your creative writing overall. You can select a mentor from the drop-down menu for each tier. We strongly recommend selecting a mentor whose specialism aligns with the work you plan to submit.

We only have a few slots available for each tier, so please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

If you have questions, email us at contact [at] quoting ‘Editorial Workshop’ in the subject line.
